The Town of Pelham, consisting of two villages, Pelham and Pelham
Manor, is a unique Westchester community. Situated just north of New
York City, the two villages have a total population of approximately
13,000.
The commuting time to Pelham,
on Metro North's New Haven line is approximately 30 minutes. What's more, commuters are frequently left with just a
short walk to their homes.
Trains leave the Pelham station as early as 5:32 A.M. each
weekday morning and return from Grand Central as late as 1:30 A.M.
The two villages function as one community. For example, the same school
system serves the entire town (and only the town) and just about every
organization you can think of, be it the recreation department, the
library or the art center, are town-wide organizations open to residents
of both villages.
